Spatula

The Spatula is an early career example of blending traditional blacksmithing techniques with a contemporary design sense to create dynamic forms in heirloom quality items. Designed in 2003 during a three year residency at the Penland School of Craft, the original spatula that all others were modeled after is in the permanent collection of the Metal Museum (former National Ornamental Metal Museum).
