Hidden Hedges Gate

This gate was designed and fashioned for a client with a textiles studio. Her abundant skeins of yarn and fabric had a direct influence on the design proposal, yielding a gate that was functional and fitting. Stainless steel strips were wrapped into a playful yet structured pattern, adding strength with each layer. The gate’s location is deliberate, delineating the manicured back yard from the wilds beyond the hedges.
